DMM has established a link with MPU thus customers may now be accessible all domestic banks’ E-Commerce Digital E-Money throughout Myanmar. Digital Money cards including VISA /MASTER/JCB/UNION PAY Card are also available to use as a Cash-In option for DMM wallet. Easily accessible online shopping through mobile phones provided as an E-commerce service. A mobile application which facilitates customers’ daily routines and necessities into an expandable digital society. Customers without DMM application can also fully access money transfer services through Agents allocated across all townships and regions.
Most wallet applications in the market are operated or supported by either a mobile operator or a bank, and are mainly targeted at the customers of one of their operators or a bank. DMM operates across all operators; it is connected to all banks and is free to use by all citizens. It is also connected to international payment gateways such as Visa and Master cards.
In order to use your DMM services; Android mobile users can download the application from Google Playstore whilst IOS users can download the application from App Store respectively. Once the application is installed, you will be able to register your phone number and register it easily. See the DMM Guide for more details. You need an operating phone number to use as your Wallet ID with accessible internet provider from any platform. Once registered, you will have an unverified User and can use up to 50,000 kyats transactions per day. If you want to spend up to 50 lakhs, you will be required to provide your personal information including Driver's license, NRC card or Passport. You will then be upgraded to Verified user level.
